What did the Committee take part in?

5 - The monument Eisenhower in Bayeux portraying General Eisenhower, Commander in Chief of Allied Forces, was inaugurated by his son on 50th Anniversary of D.Day. The architect was Robert Dean.

6 - 10 signals monuments have been erected at strategic sites, on which is written: "Here, on June 6th 1944, the heroism of the Allied Forces liberated Europe". These monuments are found at Bénouville, Ouistreham, Bernières, Graye, Port-en-Bessin, Omaha Beach, Isigny, Carentan, Sainte-Mère-Eglise and Saint-Martin-de-Varreville.
