The Association, subjected to the Law of July 1st 1901, is formed with honorary members and active members.



Honorary members are the Prefects and the Presidents of the two General Councils, the Sub-prefect of Bayeux and the Ambassadors of the seven Allied Nations of June 1944 - Great Britain, United States of America, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Norway.
Active members are the sixty Mayors of the landing communes, the General Councillors, the Members of Parliament, the military representatives and the Directors of the French Veterans Association.
